Role purpose
Due to our growth ambitions and desire to be easy to do business with we have created this brand-new role to lead our Operations & Risk function with a focus on continuous improvement, ensuring our operational processes provide a competitive advantage and driving efficiency.
Key responsibilities
This is a highly visible and impactful role driving a focus to develop and execute the company’s operational strategy.
Key aspects of the role include:
Operations Management
* Lead and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with organisational goals.
Risk Management
* Take ownership of the risk portfolio and be a senior level supporter and continuous embedder of our respected ISO27001 certification throughout the company (led by our Head of IT Ops).
Continuous Improvement
* Drive initiatives to map and enhance existing business processes.
* Identify areas for improvement within the organisation, implementing solutions to enhance overall efficiency.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and organisation.
OKR Process Management
* Oversee the implementation and management of the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) process, aligning it with organisational goals.
* Ensure effective communication and tracking of OKRs across departments.
Salesforce Optimisation
* Collaborate with the business to evaluate and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform.
* Lead efforts to adapt and optimise business processes in alignment with Salesforce updates and changes.
Meeting Facilitation
* Facilitate and chair “head of” level meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among senior leadership.
* Drive the development and implementation of meeting cadences that enhance decision making and operational efficiency.
Leadership and Collaboration
* Collaborate with the Head of Finance, Chief People Officer, and other department heads to align operational efforts with financial and human resources strategies.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to the Operations & Risk Team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Competencies
Reporting to our CFO this role would suit an ambitious individual who is keen to make a difference and has the energy, desire and previous experience to help transform and maximize the value and capabilities of our operating systems.
A player/manager role where you can get into the detail but also strategise, comfortable with technology, risk management and performance management.
Previous experience in a scaling SaaS company which has been through a similar journey will be a key advantage. Competencies include:
