We are recruiting for a Senior Solicitor for our Local Authority Recoveries Team.
We act for 85 councils across England & Wales collecting business rates and council tax and providing expert advice on problematic cases.
Our unparalleled knowledge and experience has resulted in over £27 million being recovered for the public purse over the last 10 years. Much of it in circumstances where the debt would have previously been written-off without our market-leading litigation expertise.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing efforts to see public money going to those areas that need it most.
Tasks
You will be trusted to manage a team of Solicitors and Paralegals whilst managing your own caseload. Your role will be to forge lasting relationships with our Local Authority clients whilst motivating and engaging your team to meet monthly and quarterly targets. The priority will be to maintain our excellent reputation for consistent recovery results and outstanding client care.
Requirements
We are looking for a Solicitor with at least 5 years experience post qualification. The ideal candidate will have a wide range of debt recovery and enforcement experience, with a proven track record in management and motivating a team of professionals.
We are looking for a candidate that will support and inspire a team of debt recovery fee earners, leading by example.
