We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bid Response Manager to lead our bid writing team and drive our continued growth. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for developing compelling proposals that secure valuable contracts and strengthen our market position.What You'll Do:Lead and Inspire:Mentor and guide our Bid & Tender Executives, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
Craft Winning Proposals:Develop persuasive and accurate written proposals that highlight Banner Commercial's unique value proposition.
Strategic Bid Management:Project manage assigned tenders, coordinating with internal teams (Sales, Pricing, Contracts, Operations, IT, Finance) to deliver comprehensive and timely responses.
Quality Assurance:Review and quality assess non-commercial bid responses for high-value tenders, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
Knowledge Leadership:Maintain and enhance our bid response library, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Market Intelligence:Monitor potential tender opportunities and analyze bid feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Sales Partnership:Collaborate closely with the Sales team to understand client needs and provide expert bid support.
What You'll Bring:Proven experience in successful bid writing, particularly for high-value contracts.
Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated project management abilities and a track record of meeting tight deadlines.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Strong self-management and organizational skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Industry knowledge is a plus.
Contract management experience is a plus.
