Job Purpose Summary
To manufacture complex high variety, low volume aerospace and motorsport parts.
1. Experience in aluminium metal fabrication
2. Experience with aluminium, steel, and stainless steel is necessary.
3. Necessary experience in MIG, and TIG welding, soldering and operation of CNC guillotines, CNC press brake and bending machines.
4. Able to work from technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Support the fabrication side of the business relating to its growth within the motorsport industry.
2. Competent in the use of required measurement equipment (metric & imperial).
3. Awareness of product quality criteria.
4. Provide feedback to Quality / Production functions where quality issues are observed.
5. Maintain a pro-active approach to Health Safety, Environment and Quality.
6. Ensure that the work carried out is completed to a very high standard, meeting customer expectations at all times.
7. Enthusiastically work as part of a team and follow all management instructions.

Education/Qualifications - Good level of English: Level B1 CEFR minimum essential, Fabrication Apprenticeship desirable.
Experience - Essential - 2 years minimum experience of working as a sheet metal fabricator, Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel, MIG/TIG Welding, Soldering Press brake and bending machines. Manufacturing knowledge/understanding, Health & Safety awareness desirable.
Skills - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, Problem solving.
