Fitness Manager - Belfast Job Title: Fitness Manager Reporting to: General Manager Location: Belfast Pay: 12.70 to 13.75 ph (depending on experience additional earning opportunities for personal training / teaching premium group exercise classes). Hours: A minimum of 40 hours per week, working 5 days over 7. Shifts: Shifts will vary and will include alternating weekend work. example shifts: Monday - Friday: 05:30-14:00, 14:00-22:30. Saturday & Sunday: 07:30-16::00, 11:30-20:00. The successful candidate will need to be flexible as we roster shifts to meet the needs of the business. A typical day in the life of a Fitness Manager: Oversee daily operations of the fitness department, along with some duty management shifts, ensuring an exceptional experience for all members. Lead, motivate, and manage a team of fitness advisors and personal trainers. Drive the performance of the KPIs for the team. Monitor the budget and review accordingly how much is being forecasted/spent on freelance class instructors. Along with adhering to specific fitness standards which you will be audited on. Develop and implement innovative fitness programs and classes that cater to a diverse membership base. Conduct regular staff training and professional development to maintain high standards of service. Lead group fitness classes and provide one-one training sessions. Provide personalised fitness assessments and develop tailored workout plans for members. Ensure the fitness area is safe, clean and well maintained. Stay updated with the latest fitness trends and techniques to provide cutting edge advice. Promote Bannatyne's services, special offers, and membership packages to enhance the member experience. Monitor member satisfaction and address any issues promptly. What we are looking for: NVQ Level 2 Fitness qualified. Proven experience in a managerial role within the fitness or wellness industry. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills along with experience of managing a team. You should have a good understanding of fitness technology and trends. Have strong interpersonal and communications skills and a customer focused attitude. A genuine passion for health, wellness and customer service. The ability to establish rapport, build trust and demonstrate credibility. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. It would be desirable if you were Level 3 or equivalent Gym Instruction/Personal Training or Group Exercise qualified (including in ETM, Spin etc) Why Bannatyne?
