Band 4 Lead Administrator (DDR Project) - Swindon
We have a 12 month secondment for a Lead Administrator to support the Dementia Diagnosis Rate (DDR) project in BSW Division. The role will is nominally situated at the Victoria Centre in Swindon, however the role will cover all of BANES, Swindon and Wiltshire and applicants from any area are welcome to apply as much of the work can be undertaken remotely.
The Lead Admin role will provide high level administrative assistance to this project and will have responsibility for monitoring activity levels, diagnosis rates per care home and tracking clinical information through from AWP practitioners to GP records to ensure compliance with DDR reporting requirements. The role will also assist the BSW clinical lead in preparing DDR performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
The role will involve active engagement with GP Practice Managers and admin/coding leads in GP surgeries.
The post holder will be conscientious and forward thinking. A team player with excellent analytical, organisation and communication skills.
Main duties of the job
1. Provide business co-ordination for the DDR project, providing admin support to the Clinical Lead for reporting.
2. Co-ordinate, manage the service, planning and monitor activity levels to ensure optimum use of resources, including budget management.
3. Undertake defined project work as required.
4. Ensure effective information systems for the Locality/ Division, working closely with corporate teams and supporting performance/service improvement.
5. Support development of the administrative function and admin processes within the Division by suggesting and implementing changes.
6. Supporting effective internal and external communication systems within the designated part of the Division, including to external stakeholders.

Person Specification
* Business Administration qualification or equivalent competencies acquired through experience.
* Business acumen to include use of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
* Typing speed of no less than 25 wpm.
* Experience of providing business support to Director/s or a Senior Manager/s in a large Organisation.
* Able to plan and prioritise own workload.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
* Understanding the importance of confidentiality.
* Keyboard skills to produce reports, spreadsheets, minutes, presentations and correspondence.
* Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures.
* Ability to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Trust's values.
* Project Management Qualification or equivalent competency acquired through experience.
