Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Director (Sales) to spearhead our revenue growth initiatives. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, and develop strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Development:
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with agencies.
* Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, identifying key decision makers within IPG to ensure consistent revenue growth.
* Client Relationships:
* Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
* Act as a trusted advisor by understanding clients' business objectives and aligning them with the adtech solution.
* Sales Strategy and Execution:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
* Collaboration and Coordination:
* Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to align efforts and enhance client satisfaction.
* Provide market feedback to influence product innovation and strategic initiatives.
* Reporting and Analysis:
* Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Deliver regular updates and reports to senior leadership on sales activities and outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience:
* Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, ideally in ad tech, digital marketing, or SaaS.
* Skills:
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to craft client-centric solutions.
* Knowledge:
* Familiarity with privacy-first advertising, programmatic ecosystems, and data-driven marketing strategies is a plus.
