Reed HR is collaborating with a growing manufacturing company in Worthing to find an experienced HR Assistant for their close-knit team. Reporting to the Office & HR Manager, you will support the efficient operation of the office with a primary focus on HR, playing a key role in developing the HR department. This standalone role, with management support, involves managing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and policy development. Responsibilities: Assist with implementing HCM/HRIS Oversee the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding Update, develop, and implement policies and procedures Provide administrative support, including paperwork preparation Assist with all aspects of the recruitment process, including writing job specifications and supporting interviews Generate regular reports and presentations on HR metrics Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices Requirements: Minimum two years’ experience in an HR role (essential) CIPD qualification or working towards (desirable) Genuine interest in HR and making a positive contribution to both the team and the company High level of discretion and confidentiality Proficient in Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English Task-focused, diligent, and organised If this role interests you, please apply today with your most recent CV.
