Active Kent & Medway is looking for a collaborative, driven, inspiring and innovative Place Programme Manager to join our fantastic team. You will work with organisations and communities, in the areas of greatest need, to really understand the issues preventing people from being active and help co-create change. You will also work strategically to influence policy and develop and implement local solutions, creating the conditions for people to be more active. The role provides an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who can connect, collaborate and influence to help us change the status quo and create a culture where everyone can be active. The Place Programme Manager will be supported by the Strategic Lead for Marketing, Strategy and Insight and oversee and direct the day to day work of local community connectors. This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
