Contracts Manager – MEP Install – Hospital – Devon Our client is a Main Contractor with a proven track record of nationwide coverage of various projects. Specialising in MEP install, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in Devon. Responsibilities Contract Administration & Management: Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of project contracts, including preparation, negotiation, and finalization of terms and conditions. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and manage any variations or claims throughout the project. Project Budget & Cost Control: Work closely with the project team to develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled. Identify and mitigate any financial risks and report financial performance regularly to the Regional Director. Procurement & Subcontractor Management: Manage the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services. Supervise the selection and management of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract terms, quality standards, and project timelines. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks related to project delivery, including legal, financial, or operational risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and provide guidance to project teams to avoid delays or cost overruns. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Serve as the main point of contact between the project team, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Provide regular progress reports to the Regional Director and ensure all parties are kept informed of key developments, issues, and milestones. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., health & safety, industry codes). Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that installations meet both the client’s expectations and contractual specifications. Requirements Must have an MEP/Construction background. Must have 3 years’ experience in a similar role Must have UK Passport or Right to Work Benefits £60,000-£65,000 Car, Pension and Healthcare
