Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing medical imaging procedures, including CT and MRI scans, while ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This role requires effective communication skills and a strong understanding of medical imaging technology, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties
* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, in accordance with established protocols.
* Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures by providing clear instructions and support.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care plans.
* Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures within the imaging department.
* Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices.
Skills
* Proficiency in operating CT and MRI machines is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
* Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
* Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and protocols.
* IT skills for managing digital imaging systems and electronic health records.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
