We are on the hunt for dedicated HGV drivers to keep our community clean and green. Temporary and potential ongoing work available on a Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, For the suitable candidate, a permanent role could be considered. Main duties will include: Driving and operating the vehicle safely manoeuvring large waste collection lorries on planned routes Overseeing or assisting the crew with loading waste into the lorry using hydraulic or manual methods Occasionally communicating with the public or clients regarding waste collection issues Maintaining accurate records of collections, fuel usage and vehicle maintenance Ensuring your load is safe and secure, with vehicle checks completed Shifts: Monday - Friday, start time between 4am - 6am Saturdays, start time from between 4am - 6am 8 hours a day minimum pay guaranteed Hourly pay Rates: £15.00 PAYE for all hours worked Monday - Friday. £18.00 PAYE for all hours worked Saturday Other benefits of working for The Best Connection Group Ltd include: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Online payslips Weekly pay Pension Contribution On-going assignments Benefits Hourly rate as above (not age dependent) 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) 24hr Oncall Support
