We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Head of Music to join our team at Greenbank Preparatory School and Day Nursery. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate music educator to lead and develop our dynamic music curriculum, fostering a love of music in children from Preschool to Year 6. Description In this role you will - Deliver engaging and inclusive music lessons across all year groups from Preschool to Year 6, nurturing creativity and technical skills. Lead and coordinate school performances, including concerts, annual productions, and special events like the Harvest Festival and Junior Carol Concert. Organise and lead singing practice, ensuring music is a key part of school life and community spirit. Work collaboratively with the Head of Drama and teaching staff to integrate music into performances and productions. Support and encourage talented young musicians, helping them explore opportunities beyond the classroom. Oversee instrumental tuition, ensuring all children have the chance to develop their musical abilities. Provide detailed reports on children’s musical progress and achievements. Inspire children to participate in extra-curricular music activities and appreciate live performances.
