Duties / Responsibilities
1. Provide advanced clinical care, assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with undifferentiated conditions at the Urgent Treatment Centre.
2. Ensure safe patient referral, discharge, and treatment while prescribing within professional guidelines.
3. Offer expert clinical support to nursing staff and the multidisciplinary team.
4. Maintain clinical competence, act as a role model, and contribute to service improvements.
5. Initiate and interpret investigations to determine appropriate treatments.
6. Ensure accurate documentation, promote patient health, and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions.
7. Work flexibly across two trust sites and assist with safe staffing levels when needed.
8. Foster effective communication and collaboration within the healthcare team.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Evidence of extensive professional development / clinical knowledge supplemented by specialist clinical training and CPD
2. Ability and work / study at Masters level and complete associated academic study.
3. Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (or working towards)
4. Minor injury / illness qualification
