Job description – Part Time People administrator

Handling enquiries, you'll either resolve them yourself or pass the enquiry on to the relevant person. Whatever is asked of you, you'll give it your all. As our People Administrator, you will play a crucial role across all departments helping to keep our systems up to date with a focus on HR, onboarding, and general people office administration.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the onboarding process for new joiners.
* Administer programmes of activities to support the delivery of our people programs and processes, across a varied and diverse portfolio of people activity.
* Act as a first point of contact for staff and candidates, providing information and guidance on recruitment, employment, and development related matters.
* Manage routine and repeat queries via the People/ HR email inbox which include, recruitment, L&D, HR payroll and Queries responding to enquiries and escalating issues as required.
* Provide administration support for the wider team ensuring that relevant processes and procedures are carried out accurately and efficiently, to meet deadlines.
* Data management
* Managing the administration of the different systems including updates and uploading documents
* Ensure staff benefits are allocated as employees reach relevant thresholds.
* Produce the monthly payroll spreadsheet to send to Finance for approval.
* Assist the operations team with administration tasks.
* Help plan and organise company events.
* Understanding the importance of confidentiality
* Adherence to GDPR protocols
* Help keep up to date and adhere to Company policies and systems.
* Escalate more complex cases to our outsourced HR and People partner.
* Assist department managers with disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, appeals, and capability procedures.
* Performing any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job and the title of the position, as reasonably requested by management.
Requirements:
* Experience working within an HR department.
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar HR role dealing with a multitude of departments and personnel at all levels.
* Excellent organisational skills, time management and the ability to prioritise.

Job Type: Part-time, Monday to Thursday/Friday. Hours can be split across 5 days or consolidated in to 4 days. The role is office based in Hove.
Salary: FTE £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year (pro rata for 30 hours a week)
Expected start date: February 2025
