Cook Pickhill Primary School, 17.50 hours per week (12.50 – 5.00 variable) £13.05 per hour. Initially 17.50 hours per week with a view to increase hours depending on meal numbers.
We have an opportunity to join our catering team where you will be providing tasty, nutritious, home cooked meals made from locally sourced fresh produce. NYES is a ‘fresh food’ organisation encouraging children and young people to choose nutritious meals.

We are recruiting a Cook to join our friendly team at Pickhill Primary School kitchen.
As a Cook you will be delivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety.
Your role will require you to prepare, cook and serve meals to 25 - 30 pupils and staff per day as well as other kitchen management duties such as ordering of food, stocktaking and administration, setting out and putting away dining furniture, washing up and cleaning the kitchen and dining areas.
On site training will be carried out with the successful candidate.
As a valued member of our hard-working team you will be reliable, dependable and committed to providing tasty nutritious meals, working typically from 10.00 am to 13:30 pm totalling 17.50 hours per week over 5 days.
No weekend work!
You will work term time weeks only however you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year.
For this you will be paid £13.05 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.
