WINNER are working with a well-established manufacturing company in Birmingham with over 30 years within the industry. They are looking to expand their existing team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who would like to develop their career further in a positive, fast-paced growing environment.
The ideal Sales Administrator should come from a building manufacturing industry background. You should have experience within a sales environment and hold advanced administrative skills. Outstanding sales skills to understand and meet the department's objectives and provide excellent administrative support to ensure departmental targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receiving and processing orders.
* Liaising with the warehouse to complete customer requests.
* Verifying orders, including customers' personal information.
* Contacting customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain any missing information.
* Maintaining and updating customer records.
* Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments.
* Liaising with the sales manager and assisting them with any queries.
* Supporting the department with other administrative tasks, as and when required.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience in processing sales orders or a similar role.
* Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Advanced knowledge of administrative tasks.
* Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and Outlook software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced industry; individual needs to be very organized, proactive, and self-sufficient.
* Willingness to be trained on internal departmental systems like SAP/SAGE.
Benefits:
* Salary: Dependent on experience & qualifications.
* Hours: 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
* Breaks: 2 x 10 mins AM and PM; with 30 mins (unpaid) lunch – as per department requirement.
* Holidays: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays.
