Job summary We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our lung Cancer team, as a cancer support worker for out surgical patients. Working closely with the Lung Cancer Specialist Nurses, the the cancer support worker will be supporting patients with cancer holistically. This may be via the telephone or face to face. They will also be involved in co-ordination of nurse led surgical follow up clinic. Main duties of the job Experience of working in a care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided.
