Our client is recognised as one of the UK’s leading law firms and they are currently looking for a Legal Secretary/Administrator to join their Real Estate team for 2 months.
The main purpose of the role is to provide a high-quality, professional admin support service to the team.
Responsibilities:
1. OnePlace – adding contacts/firm activity, creating contacts for Brand New Clients before opening on NBI.
2. BigHand tasks including document creation and manuscript amendments.
3. New Client/Matter creation – NBI (Creating Engagement Letters, SRA checks – adding fee estimate to 3E).
4. Land Registry tasks - Office copy entry downloads, Official searches, Land Registry applications.
5. Stamp Duty Land Tax – on-line portal – completion and submission of SDLT forms.
6. Property Searches – Input and uploading searches.
7. Data room downloading and uploading.
8. Diary Management.
9. Email management when lawyer away.
10. Archiving, deeds scheduling.
11. Booking events for lawyer.
12. Printing/Scanning/Saving documents.
13. Post to be sent out via royal mail/special delivery (or arrange to send to facilities with detailed instructions for printing).
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a law firm as a Secretary or Administrator.
