Job Title: Internal Sales Operative Responsible To: Telesales Manager We are looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Operative, with a passion for hospitability to join our proactive Telesales Department. This is a customer service-based role for a leading drinks distributor where you will work closely with your sales representative to ensure our customers receive the highest standard of customer care. Hills Prospect is a continuous learning environment with constant room for development. The Position available is full time with flexible hours to be worked between 8:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Main Responsibilities of the role: Handling Incoming and Outgoing Calls Behaving in a professional and courteous manner to all customers and other members of staff Evaluate and resolve both customer and representative queries. Liaise and build a rapport with customers and other departments. Take orders via Phone, Email or Online ordering App. Discuss current promotional deals to gain additional sales to contribute to a team target Work with our online ordering system to ensure orders are input correctly and all customer issues are dealt with in a timely manner. Efficient Call logging and email managementWork alongside the Sales Team to grow the business in upselling and promotional activity This is not an exhaustive list, and you are required to be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties which may change time to time to reflect business need or for the companys continuous improvement. The Successful Candidates will have: A Confident, Engaging and Friendly Telephone Manner Clear communication skills Detailed understanding of the products we sell at Hills Prospect (Training will be provided) Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail Ability to Multitask and organise your workload. Flexible, proactive and reactive approach when responding to matters in the workplace. Competent in Excel and Microsoft for reporting purposes Previous experience in a sales environment is desirable but not essential.
