You will be responsible for the development of and management of some great household name brands such as Costa, Subway, and WHSmith, all operating across the Sodexo estates. You won't just be sitting at a desk; you’ll be working closely with culinary and marketing teams creating exciting food and beverage offers, launching new retail outlets, and introducing innovative third-party concessionaires. What you’ll do
1. Identify potential partner brands and collaborate with the food platform to create commercial partnerships.
2. Ensure adherence to company accounting practices, carrying out weekly business forecasts to track budget performance.
3. Analyse account variances and trends with Operations Directors, implementing action plans as needed.
4. Ensure compliance with Sodexo’s Food Safety, Health & Safety policies, and Safeguard audit standards.
5. Control retail costs and expenditure in line with budget, optimise supplier use, and maximise labour productivity.
6. Continuously enhance quality through innovation, monitoring performance against standards and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
7. Ensure full compliance with legislation and trading standards requirements for retail units.
8. Liaise with external catering partners to ensure alignment with the Sodexo brand.
9. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menu offers across departments.
10. Lead sales bids and retail mobilisations, ensuring they are completed on target and on time.
What you’ll bring
1. Track record of identifying third-party partners and developing commercial partnerships.
2. Management of multiple million-pound profit and loss accounts, and budgets.
3. High level of commercial acumen.
4. Developing and implementing Retail strategy.
5. Strong retail background operating multiple sites with a national retailer.
6. Design and Implementation of Retail SOPs.
7. Full awareness of marketing tools and up-to-date industry initiatives to drive additional Retail sales.
8. Operational knowledge, skills, and experience in Retail Management to a world-class standard.
9. Experience of client liaison at a high level.
10. Excellent communication skills internally and externally at all levels.
11. Resilience to manage multiple tasks and prioritisation.
12. Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment.
13. Ability to interpret and utilise financial and commercial information.

We offer a salary of £80,000 to £90,000 (depending on experience) plus access to a range of excellent benefits, including:
1. Performance-related bonus up to 15%.
2. Car allowance up to £8000.
3. Employer pension contribution.
4. Life assurance – 1 x annual salary.
