A highly regarded SEN school in Gerrards Cross is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). About the School: This specialist school caters to students aged 12-18, many of whom have Autism, complex needs, and physical disabilities. The school provides an inclusive, nurturing environment that helps students overcome barriers to learning, ensuring they receive the highest level of education and care. The Role – Behaviour Mentor As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students in a classroom setting alongside the teacher, providing one-to-one and small group support. The ideal candidate will be: Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a strong ability to build positive relationships. Experienced in working with challenging behaviours (though transferable skills from other professions will also be considered).
