What your days will look like: Financial Reporting: Play a l ead role in the preparation and review of group financial statements under IFRS, oversee monthly and quarterly reporting packs, manage covenant reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate audits while providing expert accounting advice. Accounting: Manage group accounting for various financial elements like acquisitions and pensions, and prepare forecasts for reserves and net worth. Regulatory Compliance and Process Improvement: Ensure compliance with financial standards, monitor regulatory changes, enhance reporting processes, and contribute to ERP projects. Stakeholder and Team Leadership: Build strong stakeholder relationships, contribute to key accounting papers, lead and mentor a team, and promote professional growth and collaboration. This role is for you if: Education: Must possess a n ACA or ACCA (or an international equivalent). Experience: At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting or external audit, preferably in a large professional services firm. Team Management: Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team. Financial Skills: Expertise in preparing and analy s ing consolidated financial statements, with a solid grasp of complex accounting issues and regulatory compliance. Technical Skills: Proficiency with financial reporting software, ERP systems, and strong Excel capabilities; includes project management skills for overseeing reporting processes. Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities to identify trends and provide insights, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and the capability to resolve complex reporting issues.
