The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. They must be quick learners with the ability to think on their feet, possess strong negotiating skills, and showcase our offerings compellingly. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and trade shows, the sales representative must be both personable and professional.
Location: Thurles Technology Park, Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Hours: The role is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week out of 6, Monday to Saturday, but may vary depending on the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Promote all GRI Stadiums Hospitality, Fundraising, Tote, Sponsorship, and non-Standard Events.
2. Identify new business opportunities.
3. Collaborate with colleagues in the Sales & Reservations Department.
4. Keep up to date and identify the latest trends.
5. Maintain a database and excellent customer relations with the aid of CRM software.
6. Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities.
7. Identify prospects, set weekly appointments, make effective qualifying sales outbound calls, and manage the sales cycle from proposal to closing stages.
8. Demonstrate product knowledge and conduct presentations, handling objections effectively.
9. Find, engage, and connect with prospects through digital channels.
10. Build relationships on digital platforms and turn online connections into offline sales conversations.
11. Achieve sales targets set by the line manager.
