Role: Part time Occupational Therapist Location: Stapleton, Bristol Type: Part time, permanent Salary: up to £36,000 (pro rata) Eden brown are working with a private client who are looking for a Part time occupational therapist to join their therapy team on a fast-paced, 10-bed adult acute ward base din Stapleton, Bristol. The role will involve completing assessments, developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans, facilitating group and 1:1 work, facilitating graded exposure, educating on coping strategies, completing community signposting and contributing to multi-disciplinary team meetings. You will be working alongside an occupational therapy assistant and may be required to provide supervision to occupational therapy staff. Although you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, comprising of nurses, healthcare assistants, psychiatrists and a specialty doctor, a large part of the role will also involve autonomous working. You will be expected to apply your occupational therapy skills, complete thorough risk assessments and use evidence-practice to guide your therapeutic interventions. Preferred working days would be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday but this can be discussed. To apply for this role you must be HCPC registered and have experience in a similar mental health setting.
