About the Company: Our client is a prestigious, leading-tier developer with a strong presence in the South London area. With an excellent track record in delivering large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, they are renowned for their high-quality projects and innovative approach to construction. They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Delivery: Oversee and manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or changes.
* Team Management: Lead and coordinate internal and external teams, including contractors, sub-contractors, architects, and consultants. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
* Risk Management: Identify and manage risks throughout the project. Develop mitigation strategies and resolve issues as they arise.
* Budget & Cost Control: Ensure that projects stay within budget, managing costs and reviewing financial performance regularly.
* Scheduling: Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and delays are minimized.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and health and safety standards.
* Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of quality throughout all project phases, from design through to handover.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in project management, ideally with experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
* Qualifications: A relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., RICS, APM, or equivalent) would be highly beneficial.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and project management tools.
* Leadership: Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
* Problem Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address them.
* IT Proficiency: Strong knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject) and general IT tools.
