MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our ongoing Mid-Ulster client who are a market leading Construction Company.Due to their successin recent contracts they now require a Site Managerto join their growing team, to oversee a number of projects to include a mix ofresidential and social housing works. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and excellent communication skills. They will bring confidence and energy to the role. Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Ability to work under pressure and to challenging programmes. Providing effective, efficient management of building projects. delivering contracts safely, profitably, on time and to a high-quality standard. Strong people management skills Ability to work collaboratively within a project team environment Proven track record of managing multiple sub-contractors Technically proficient Strong knowledge of current legislation as well as all Health & Safety and other regulatory matters. Experience in producing and fielding site progress reports Experience in managing defects and handover activities Accuracy and attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. IT literate and experience using project management software Planning and organising skills with the ability to self-prioritise workload. Pre-tender/Bid Management assistance Essential Criteria: Experience of managing a range of construction projects in various sectors Proven track record in the completion of successful construction projects. Commercially aware and able to balance program vs costs advantageously. Excellent ability to manage several projects concurrently Strong leadership qualities with a can-do attitude and a team player with a willingness and enthusiasm to help other team members as and when required.
