At Twickenham Veterinary Surgery, we are passionate about providing top-quality care for our patients and exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Practice Director to join our team and help us continue to grow and thrive.
As the Practice Director, you will be responsible for leading and developing our team to ensure exceptional client and patient experience. You will work closely with the in-practice and Area leadership teams to maintain and enhance practice standards while managing the financial aspects of the clinic.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring staff attraction and retention.
2. Responsibility for the financial performance of the practice against targets set out in the business plan.
3. Ensuring all HR, Health and Safety, Financial, GDPR, Compliance & Security policies are adhered to.
4. Collaborating with our clinical leadership team to ensure staff rotas are in place to meet our legal and professional responsibilities.
5. Attend and participate in leadership and wider group meetings as required.
6. Collaborating with our SOC teams to ensure effective communication, coordination and cooperation.
7. Discuss, plan and promote practice promotional events such as our Pet Health Club, open days, etc.
8. Adhering to ethical and professional standards including working within the framework of the RCVS guide to professional conduct and ensuring familiarity with the VPMA code of ethics.
What you'll bring to our practice:
This dynamic and rewarding role is ideal for a proactive, organized, and supportive individual with in-practice leadership or management experience who is eager to embrace a new challenge. Experience and understanding of financial management is key, as this is an essential aspect of the role, as well as managing any personnel issues that may arise. Experience or knowledge of the veterinary sector would be preferred.
Working pattern:
This is a full-time, permanent position over 40hrs/week. Core hours will be 09:00-17:30 Monday-Friday, however we are happy to consider flexible working requests to accommodate a healthy work-life balance.
