We are looking for an enthusiastic clinician to play a key role in supporting and facilitating the implementation of Nottingham University Hospital (NUH) EPR Programme. The primary focus will be supporting the digitalisation of healthcare documentation predominantly within Nervecentre. As part of the Digital Clinical Team your role will be fundamental in supporting the deployment of digital projects under the direction and support of the digital matron and digital clinical team.
Developing & maintaining relationships across and within Divisions to ensure engagement of clinicians from all disciplines on this challenging journey is pivotal.
This role is full time and working across both QMC and City campuses as required. You should be a confident, credible & motivated clinician with experience of delivering change and influencing others preferably on a Trust wide project.
The post holder will play a fundamental role in supporting the implementation of the Electronic Patient Records (EPR) Programme, with a key focus on trust wide documentation and the digitisation of key records. Working as an integral part of the EPR programme they will be fundamental to the success of digitising health records and will support the digital matron and digital clinical team in enabling staff to develop and improve patient information systems and processes across clinical services within the trust.
The post holder will provide practical, educational and clinical support to the nursing teams to embrace new ways of working and to continually seek service improvement. The post holder will support the digital clinical team and other teams within digital services to ensure the goals of the overall project plan are met. Collaborative working is crucial to the success of all digital deployments.
Working within a team of digital nurses and midwives, you will be a key member of the team, supporting the EPR programme of work. The digital clinical team bridge the gap between digital services and clinical staff working on wards and departments.
The team is unique and has responsibility for ensuring all digital deployments are clinically safe, effective and efficient and overall improve the patient safety.
