We are recruiting for a Production Manager for our Severnside Plant. This role reports directly into the Plant Manager and is responsible for all operations on site, and driving CI. A fantastic role for someone with experience in developing and leading large teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Effective implementation of Zero Harm and Safety Differently
2. Effective implementation of Zero Defect policies and procedures.
3. Achieve production and efficiency targets
4. Increase Process Relaibility
5. Engagement of operations teams in business values and objectives
6. Design and implementation of change based on data and root cause (i.e. risk assessments, root cause analysis, 5S, best in class benchmarking & reapplication)..
7. Monitoring and reporting CI metrics including plant efficiency, OEE, Near miss, product flow compliance
8. Leading and facilitating improvement activity using Kaizen and DMAIC approach
What you'll need:
9. Ideally Six Sigma Green Belt qualification or CI/lean based qualification
10. NEBOSH qualified. IOSH accepted
11. Experienced in lean based/CI operational role would be an advantage.
12. Experienced in team and shift leadership
13. Ideally worked in a quality focused environment and familiar with quality-based standards.
14. ·Highly organised with a flexible, pro-active, self-motivated and persistent approach.
15. Good coaching skills.
16. Proven skills and capabilities in communication and problem solving.
17. Experienced in the application of MS-Office
18. Capabilities in leadership, project management and change
