Key responsibilities as a Sales Lead Generator (Desk Based): Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce the company's solutions and services Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, and potential clients Build and maintain a pipeline of potential leads through online research, CRM systems, and referrals Qualify leads by understanding their freight requirements and matching them with our service offerings Schedule appointments and set up meetings for the Area Sales Managers to convert leads into clients Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects in the CRM system, including contact information, follow-up activities, and client preferences Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and campaigns Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and the company's product offerings to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects What we’re looking for: (Ideally) Experience in a customer service or lead generation role Strong confidence, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly A strong sense of determination and perseverance to meet the daily targets of calls and emails, paired with the eagerness to learn and grow Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for achieving sales targets Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively Strong research skills to identify and qualify high-potential leads Capability to handle objections and closing leads Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to perform independently High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and client information.
