Regional Quality Assurance Manager for 7 sites in London & Berkshire. Work in the office and visit each site twice a month. Ideally someone from an on-site background.
* Developing QA Policies and Procedures: Establishing and implementing QA policies, procedures, and standards that align with company best practices.
* Quality Planning: Developing quality plans for construction projects, including defining quality criteria, inspection and testing protocols, and quality assurance checkpoints.
* Quality Control: Overseeing the execution of quality control processes throughout the construction project lifecycle, including monitoring workmanship, materials, and compliance with specifications.
* Evaluating and selecting reliable vendors and suppliers: Ensuring quality standards are met.
* Training and guidance: Providing construction teams with quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
* Risk Management: Identifying potential quality risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
* Quality Inspections and Audits: Conducting regular inspections, audits, and quality reviews of construction activities, processes, and deliverables.
* Document Control: Managing documentation related to quality assurance activities.
* Non-Conformance Management: Investigating non-conformities, defects, and quality issues.
* Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Continuous Improvement: Monitoring quality performance metrics and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, standards, regulations, and industry certifications.
* Extensive experience in a QA role in the Construction industry, ideally with a Residential Developer / Main Contractor with a residential element.
* Ability to produce Quality Management Plans and enforce them.
* Site Management background.
