Job responsibilities
We are looking for an outstanding Involvement Lead with a passion for delivering excellent care.
You'll be working 37.5 hours a week at Cygnet Hospital Wyke. Cygnet Hospital Wyke provides a comprehensive pathway of acute admissions services for men. Our team works closely and collaboratively with service users, their families and the referrer to provide a seamless pathway from referral to discharge.
Your day-to-day
Working as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, the post holder will be expected to:
1. Work within, and promote, the Cygnet Values.
2. Treat patients and colleagues with respect at all times and maintain a professional manner.
3. Facilitate user involvement projects on an individual basis or in a group setting, contributing to the co-ordination and implementation of involvement across the unit.
4. Generate innovative suggestions within the service user population on how this might be achieved, guiding and supporting as necessary.
5. Provide leadership for the Recovery College, ensuring ongoing innovation and development in consultation with Lead OT/Clinical Manager and the Improvement Manager.
6. Evaluate the outcome of any service user projects in conjunction with the relevant heads of departments and progress initiatives as appropriate, under supervision.
7. Provide involvement across all four wards.
