Senior Business Development Manager - Senior Sales Engineer
Ace technical sales role managing a team of 5 (60% management and 40% Sales) - Senior Technical Sales Manager.
Manage and develop the sales function in this growing business focused on:
1. Pumps
2. Engineering solutions
3. Repair and maintenance into Facilities Management companies
We need a B2B, technical sales, business development-focused sales professional with experience of developing and executing a sales strategy. You will have strong synergy with the above, and ideally a mechanical engineering qualification or technical experience, drive, and energy.
A role for a technical (mechanical) senior sales manager with excellent leadership skills, who is hands-on and still wants to sell and develop business.
Key Requirements:
* An understanding of a non-corporate environment and a passion for this size of business.
* Strategic sales experience is essential - facilitating growth and implementing management and performance processes without upsetting the apple cart is critical.
* You will be selling pump and engineering solutions and services into facilities management companies (mainly) - delivering engineering projects.
Ideally, you will be able to be office-based once a week or twice every two weeks. This is a home-based and field-based role and requires being very proactive.
Bonus Experience:
* Understanding/experience or contacts within the facilities management sector in the South East.
* Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant qualification.
* Any technical understanding or experience in pumps.
