We have a new opportunity to be part of our IT team in the role of IT Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. To deliver new and enhance existing solutions and services to the broader Team.
2. To plan and implement projects such as upgrades of business-critical applications, migrate to new infrastructure services and build brand new cloud-based solutions.
3. To use waterfall and Agile methodologies and tools to propose the most suitable delivery methodology for each assigned task.
4. Engage in requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring that the project objectives are clearly defined and understood by all stakeholders.
5. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation processes to ensure that delivered solutions meet the business needs and quality standards.
6. To contribute towards designing and building cross-functional teams to mature the scope, requirements, resource profile etc. to complete each task within pre-defined parameters.
7. To be hands-on and practical and add value to the implementation process.
8. To effectively manage stakeholder relationships using appropriate communication styles.
9. To chair, attend and proactively participate in meetings as required.
10. To work proactively, responsibly and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure.
11. To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain current and thorough working knowledge of own area of expertise and keeping any relevant certifications valid.
12. Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
1. Successful track record of managing and delivering both software and infrastructure related projects.
2. 5+ years’ experience in project management would be preferable.
3. Effective communication skills including workshop facilitation, presentations and leading discussions with all levels of the business.
4. The ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels.
5. Strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
6. Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions quickly, balancing competing priorities considering potential impacts on the portfolio.
7. Familiarity with project management software and tools for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
8. Experienced in both Waterfall & Agile ways of working (Scrum), hands-on approach to developing and managing a backlog and all associated ceremonies.
9. Proficient in tailoring project control methods to suit the Agile environment.
10. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
11. Excellent interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-accessible language.
13. Highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
14. Keen attention to detail.
15. Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
16. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
17. Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
