About the position Location: London, Hybrid This is a pivotal sales role within Flora Food Group. As our Wholesale & Convenience Key Account Manager, you will focus on driving growth across the wholesale and convenience sector, ensuring strong commercial partnerships with key distributors and retail groups. You will be responsible for expanding the presence of our iconic plant-based brands such as Flora, ProActiv, and Elmlea across this important channel. You’ll deliver on your targets through strategic account management, fostering strong relationships with key customers, and crafting effective business plans tailored to wholesale and convenience needs. This hybrid role involves working three days per week from our London office. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Account Management: Oversee P&L performance for wholesale and convenience accounts, delivering financially optimised results. Develop annual account plans to maximise sales potential, identifying both short-term opportunities and long-term growth strategies. Drive actionable plans to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities within the independent retail and wholesale sectors. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Category team to analyse market dynamics and uncover channel-specific opportunities. Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure exceptional service levels and streamlined operations tailored to the wholesale and convenience sector. Collaborate with Marketing to successfully launch New Product Developments (NPD) and execute trade marketing strategies. Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting: Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and long-term success. Report to the Business Unit Lead, playing a key role in contributing to the overall growth strategy within wholesale and convenience. So, what does it take to be successful in this role? Experience and Expertise: Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, managing wholesale or convenience accounts within FMCG. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a track record of achieving ambitious sales and P&L targets. Commercial Acumen: A commercially astute mindset, holding yourself and others accountable to deliver and monitor performance. A proactive approach to solving problems and addressing challenges with innovative strategies. Quality-Oriented and Insightful: A commitment to delivering high-quality solutions, delighting both internal and external customers. The ability to interpret market and competitor data and transform insights into actionable strategies.
