About the Role As a Social Worker in the Children Looked After Team, you will be responsible for supporting children who are in long-term care. Your role will focus on care planning, placement stability, and promoting positive outcomes for children and young people. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring they receive the support they need. Develop and implement care and pathway plans that prioritise children’s well-being and future aspirations. Work closely with foster carers, residential homes, schools, and health professionals to provide holistic support. Ensure children’s voices and wishes are heard in all decisions affecting their lives. Conduct regular visits, reviews, and assessments to monitor progress and address any challenges. Work within legislation and statutory guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding. About You ? A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England .? Experience working in Children Looked After, Looked After Children (LAC), or child protection .? Strong care planning, risk assessment, and relationship-building skills .? A commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children in care .? Ability to work collaboratively with professionals, carers, and families. What We Offer ?
