Senior Care Assistant
Location: Maiden Castle House - Dorchester - DT1 2NJ
Pay rate: £12.50 per hour
Required: NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or be working towards
Hours: Full & Part Time - Every Other Weekend Off
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant to join the TEAM at Maiden Castle House, our state-of-the-art residential and dementia care home in the town of Dorchester, Dorset.

What you will be doing:
- Work alongside a team of Care Assistants to ensure they are supported and have guidance throughout their shift
- Identifying the individual needs and abilities of our residents to allow you to deliver person centred care.
- Supporting residents to help them remain as independent as possible.
- Providing companionship – really getting to know them!
- Act as point of escalation for any incidents or events in the home
- Working in a team to create a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere around home.
Who are we looking for:
Someone who is naturally caring and compassionate!
We want someone who can make a positive impact on the lives of our residents, you will need to be able to inspire and nurture your team to be at their best every day.
You’ll have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
With your previous care experience you will have the knowledge and understanding of care planning and administering medication.
