About you:
Passion and drive
We want to add you to our team if you are passionate about the environment and want to get hands on with having a positive influence on nature. You will have the drive and ambition to have a big impact at ground level through a role that includes both desk based and construction site work and always be striving for better. This is an opportunity to change the status quo into something better as we raise the bar for environmental excellence.
Curiosity, communication and problem solving skills
You will have a natural curiosity to ask questions, to ensure a solid understanding of processes and methods even if you have never encountered them before. You will excel at getting to the root cause of an issue and create innovative and effective solutions to complex problems. You will thrive in an environment that is fast paced, constantly changing and whilst being kept on your toes each and every day. Your ability to manage multiple aspects of a project fuels your problem-solving ability through innovative and out of the box thinking.
Client management and expectation setting
Whether it is colleagues, clients or contractors, you are someone who is able to create and build effective working relationships that allow ease and efficiency in the work environment. You will be confident in saying no, setting expectations and giving clear instructions for sensitive works. You can handle yourself in tricky conversations where your negotiation and conflict resolution skills shine through.
Autonomy and task ownership
You will own your own projects and run with them to completion with excellent time management and prioritisation skills. You will be confident in asking for input, support and sense checking where you deem necessary. You are someone who loves being out on site, checking in on what is happening and reporting back to Project Managers regarding environmental legislation compliance.
We want to hear from you
You may not tick every box above, but we still want to hear from you if you believe you have what it takes… even where you don’t have the technical environmental skills. As we are recruiting for a range of grades, you may just be what we are looking for even if you don’t match the job description exactly.
