The main purpose of the Mobile Engineer role is to deliver, maintain and repair NHS wheelchairs for service users across Devon. The successful candidate will be required to drive an RDUH Trust vehicle to the patient's address, and carry out all necessary repairs. Strong communication and sound mechanical skills are essential to the role, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About the Role
The Exeter Mobility Centre are offering an opportunity to join the NHS Wheelchair Repair Service as a Mobile Engineer. This is a patient facing role and provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to truly make a positive difference for our patients.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700. 1 in 5 17:00-20:00 on-call. 1 in 5 weekend on call.
