Mechanical Engineer / Senior Mechanical Engineer
We have a brand-new opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP division based in our Leeds office.
It's an exciting time to join our MEP team! We have a proven track record working within the North of England, with offices in Leeds, Manchester and more recently Scotland. Working collaboratively, you will be joining a fun, highly engaged team who love what they do. Our team have a wealth of experience and will offer support, development opportunities and expert advice.
Your role will include:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical delivery of the mechanical design services for a variety of multidisciplinary projects across a range of building sectors, ensuring all projects are delivered to a ‘right first-time approach’ and that quality management procedures are followed. Other responsibilities include:
* Project delivery, including set up and briefing.
* Attending design team, client, and site meetings.
* Supporting with timely invoicing, management of WIP and resource planning for projects.
* Coordinating and working with the wider MEP team to maintain design quality and consistency across teams.
* Mentoring junior members of the team including graduates/apprentices and supporting them with their learning.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Degree and/or Masters qualified within mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
* Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer, contributing to design projects and experience working on a range of building services projects in the UK.
* Knowledge of BIM processes, Revit, IES and other design software.
