Do you love working with children but looking for a role to fit around your own studies or other commitments? Are you available
to work between 7.30am – 9am and 2.45pm - 6pm Monday to Friday?
We are recruiting for a Playworker to support the running of our breakfast and after school clubs across Wollaton and Sherwood for
children aged 4 – 11 year olds based within a school setting.
If you have any experience of working with children and are looking for a way to gain more experience with the bonus of earning
money and making a difference, this could be the perfect role for you.
Working term time only, our morning shift 7.30am – 9am and afternoon shift would be 2.45pm - 6pm Monday - Friday.
The Role
You will be an energetic, passionate individual who loves children, loves playing and creating games and activities to give them
an enjoyable experience.
As part of a team, you will lead exceptional play activities, make sure they meet a high standard of play through a fun, safe and
positive programme of activities.
You will have brilliant communication skills and you will have an excellent rapport with parents and carers, children, colleagues,
and school staff alike.
You’ll champion our Core Values of Caring, Respect, Responsibility and Honesty throughout the play you deliver, and ensure the
wellbeing and happiness of children is always put first.
We are looking for someone with experience of working with school age children with a strong awareness of safeguarding.
We are also able to offer additional hours working at our school holiday club Camp Williams.
If you have had experience of working with children either in another after school club, brownies or beavers, gymnastics or sports
clubs or anything similar, we would love to hear from you!
