What you’ll do:
* Lead and manage the onsite Sodexo catering team, ensuring top-quality food and service.
* Prepare and cook meals to the agreed standards and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
* Oversee menu planning, stock management, and cost control to meet budget requirements.
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene, adhering to the Food Safety Act and company policies.
* Monitor and manage kitchen safety, reporting any issues and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Provide leadership, training, and development to kitchen staff to ensure operational excellence.
* Act as the focal point for health, safety, and environmental compliance, fostering a strong safety culture.
* Ensure effective ordering and stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain food safety.
What you bring:
* City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation.
* Minimum two years of experience in catering management or a similar role.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing resources (people, finance, stock).
* Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate and ISOH Safety Certificate (desirable).
* Proven ability to manage a high-volume kitchen while maintaining exceptional standards.
* A passion for delivering great food and service while leading a team to success.
