Job Summary Position will be to cover Telford and Bude. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dom Care Worker to join our team and provide pop in calls to our clients. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to both adults and children in need of assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, including behaviour management, meal preparation, and medication administration. The Care Worker will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients. Working Shifts will be: Full Time 6am-11pm on a 3 on and 3 off basis Part Time 6am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, min x1 evening per week Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Help with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met. Administer medication as per prescribed guidelines. Implement behaviour management strategies to support clients with specific needs. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Experience Previous experience in a caregiving role involving care for children is preferred. Experience in dementia care or working with individuals with behavioural challenges is beneficial. A valid UK driving licence is desired for transportation of clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families are essential.
