JOB TITLE: Cleaning Operative
LOCATION: BH2
WORKING HOURS: 3 on 4 off, 30 hours per week
PAY RATE: £12.60 per hour
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
ABM is looking for hardworking and proactive Cleaning Operative to join our team in the Bournemouth area. Your duties will involve cleaning of Front of House areas and includes hoovering, using a Scrubber Dryer to clean front of house, mopping, wiping kitchen areas, toilet cleaning, and ensuring the outside area is free from litter. You will empty waste and will also be using a Baler and Compactor back of house. You must have good attention to detail and high standards of cleaning. You will be responsible for disinfecting areas as per planner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting all surfaces.
2. Scrubbing kitchen and toilets.
3. Hoovering and mopping floors and using Floor Scrubber Dryer.
4. Disinfecting all high touch points and ensuring outside is free from litter.
5. Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures etc.
6. Following group and company policies and procedures.
7. Back of House and Front of House management of areas.
8. Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
9. Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
10. Report any issues or training needs to your Line Manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Must be hardworking with good attendance, work to routine schedules, and proactively find tasks on your own initiative.
ESSENTIAL
1. Cleaning experience
2. Good attendance
3. Timekeeping
4. Good communication skills - Use of radios is required.
5. Be available for occasional cover shifts.
