Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Programme Manager with expertise in Asset Management and a deep understanding of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Assets to lead large-scale programmes in a client-facing capacity. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex programmes, ensuring robust governance, and managing high-level stakeholders effectively. This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional organisational skills, technical knowledge of asset management, and the ability to drive value through best practices and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Programme Leadership: Plan, lead, and deliver large-scale asset management programmes, ensuring objectives are met on time, within scope, and budget.
2. Client Engagement: Serve as the primary client interface, building trust and maintaining strong relationships throughout the programme lifecycle.
3. Governance & Reporting: Develop and maintain governance structures, producing accurate, insightful reports for stakeholders and ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
4. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and resolving conflicts to ensure successful programme delivery.
5. Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks, implementing effective solutions for emerging issues.
6. Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance programme efficiency and outcomes.
7. Resource Management: Manage teams effectively, aligning resources to programme priorities and fostering a high-performance culture.
Essential Experience:
1. Proven experience managing large-scale, complex programmes, preferably within asset management or infrastructure sectors.
2. Expertise in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Assets, including maintenance, lifecycle management, and performance optimisation.
3. Strong background in governance frameworks, with excellent reporting and analytical skills.
4. Demonstrated ability to work in a client-facing role, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
5. Hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making within dynamic environments.
6. Advanced knowledge of project/programme management tools and methodologies (e.g., MSP, Prince2, or Agile).
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing senior stakeholders across diverse disciplines.
8. Skilled in navigating complex organisational structures and ensuring alignment between multiple stakeholders.
Desirable Experience:
1. Knowledge of asset management standards (e.g., ISO 55000).
2. Experience with digital tools and technologies for asset management (e.g., CAFM systems & asset data collection software).
