Be part of the family...
We’re a family business through and through – family owned since 1868, family run and with a warm family welcome for guests and team alike. Our seven hotels are unique and set in three stunning Scottish locations. Some are big, some are small, but all offer fantastic food and drink, cozy beds and a wealth of things to do.
Crieff Hydro Hotel
In the heart of Scotland, we’re set in a 900 acre estate in stunning Perthshire. A home from home, we’ve been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. We have 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self-catering lodges, 6 restaurants and over 60 onsite activities – including a spa, leisure center, horse-riding center and our famously exciting Action Glen. There really is something for everyone!
About the role
Working as part of our food and beverage team offers you a friendly, fast paced and challenging experience. Looking after our guests in Banqueting and Events, you'll be responsible for helping deliver the many exciting events and weddings that we host all year round at Crieff Hydro.
As many of our events go on late in the evening, this role will entail a variation of hours from early mornings and late evenings.
We are flexible in offering a range of contracts to successful candidates - from zero hours contracts to full time, dependent on individual needs.
What we need from you
Exceptional customer service is at the heart of our business, so your friendly, welcoming personality is a given. Your enthusiasm and passion for hospitality, along with your genuine smile and desire to get it right for the customer, will impress us. It’s great if you’ve got previous hospitality or customer service experience, but your attitude is what will really count.
What you’ll get from us
* The opportunity to work in a friendly, forward thinking company with development as a priority – could you be our next Banqueting and Events Supervisor?
* Internal career opportunities among a wide range of roles, departments and branches.
* Opportunities to apply for our Be A Leader development program.
* Unique benefits including pension contributions, recommend a friend initiative and our cycle to work scheme, allowing you to buy a bike tax-free.
* Discounts on leisure memberships, hotel activities, retail, and food and beverages.
* Team Rate rooms at all of our hotels – where will you choose to explore on your days off?
* Live in accommodation on-site may be available and is inclusive of bills.
* Free staff meals on shift.
* We are open to having a conversation with you around flexible working, both full-time and part-time, to work together and establish the hours that best suit you.
Please note, this opportunity does not qualify for sponsorship. To be considered for this role you should already have a right to work in the UK.
