Company description: Epson Europe BV Job description: Your mission: Are you ready for an exciting opportunity? As a Financial Controller – HR, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting for HR and personnel costs. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract starting in April 2024, where you will support key stakeholders in making informed business decisions while ensuring compliance with financial policies and reporting standards. You will work closely with HR leadership and finance teams to enhance financial processes and drive continuous improvement. What you will do: Provide routine and ad hoc reporting on headcount, HR costs, and personnel expenses to key stakeholders. Complete financial reporting tasks, including purchase orders, accruals, provisions, and month-end processes. Prepare and submit HR budget and forecast materials, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with HR teams. Conduct variance analysis and report findings to the Chief People Officer. Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting standards across HR-related costs. Support audits and internal/external reviews related to HR financials. Build strong relationships within HR and finance teams, offering financial insights and guidance. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency. What we ask for: Fully or partially qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with relevant experience. Some experience in a finance controlling role within a commercial environment. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP, Power BI, or similar financial systems (SAP BW is a plus). Understanding of international accounting standards and financial compliance. Ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Willingness to embrace process improvements and meet strict deadlines. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
