Senior Paraplanner - Nottingham
Our client is looking for a talented Senior Paraplanner to join their team in Nottingham.
Responsibilities:
1. Working collaboratively with financial planners, you will help give advice to clients. You will create lifetime cashflow forecasts with multiple scenarios to test the extent to which they can achieve their goals. You will then write a financial plan with the company's summary advice, accompanied by a suitability report for regulated recommendations.
2. With strong technical knowledge, you will support other members of the team, being responsible for their technical development and ongoing learning.
3. Using your experience of defined benefit pensions, you will prepare the necessary assessments and advice for clients when required, and support other members of the team in this area.
4. Ensuring financial plans and ongoing reviews for your clients are delivered accurately and on time, with subsequent transactions processed accurately and according to service expectations.
5. A place on the Investment & Research Committee so you can shape the advice the company gives.
6. Maintaining and developing our templates, calculators and input into process development.
You:
1. Preferably qualified to Level 6 and have worked as a paraplanner at a senior level previously.
2. Experience of dealing with arrangements such as family investment companies, share options and international pensions, in addition to the more typical financial planning product solutions.
3. Able to demonstrate ability to work under pressure.
4. Day-to-day involvement with clients.
5. Capable of drafting concise and accurate correspondence.
