General Description
As an Area Service Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking service and maintenance calls as scheduled by our Service Desk team, and small works as requested. You will also be a member of the out-of-hours on-call rota at ASEL Integrated Security Solutions to ensure full coverage to our customers 24/7/365.
You will be responsible for the customer base within your service area. We will endeavour to keep you within a set service area, but there will be occurrences where we require you to work outside your normal service area. You will maintain levels of professionalism while representing the company in an approachable manner, building working relationships with customer representatives.
You will assist in maintaining all SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) that we have agreed with customers and work as efficiently and professionally as possible to ensure we meet these demands.
To consistently promote ASEL Integrated Security Solutions' standard codes of practice in professionalism and customer care by presenting a positive image and offering the highest standards of customer service.
Knowledge and Skills Requirement
You will possess a sound understanding of CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and Fire systems. Amberstone will ensure that you are fully trained in the latest relevant working safely procedures and obtain all necessary qualifications to work for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the smooth running of your designated service area.
* Actively communicate any outstanding issues within your area to your Line Manager or Supervisor.
* Manage your area revisits (keeping them to a minimum).
* Be an Ambassador for ASEL Group.
* Undertake any reasonable duties passed to you by the Service Team in a timely manner.
Salary: Competitive basic salary (depending on experience) with overtime and a 1 in 6 call out rota.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Appearance: Wear Company issued clothing and carry your Amberstone Identification at all times.
* Vehicle: Your vehicle is your responsibility; maintain it and keep it clean and presentable.
* Working Hours: Adhere to Company working hours, and be available for occasional out-of-hours work as needed.
* Paperwork and Procedure: Submit all requested paperwork fully and on time. Respond to Company emails promptly.
* Service: Present a positive image of Amberstone to the Client and provide first-class service.
* First Fix: Aim to complete calls on the first callout to maximize system uptime and reduce call charges.
* Documentation: Create all handover paperwork and documentation for each service call out legibly and concisely.
* Communication: Communicate any issues or problems directly to the Service Desk or your Line Manager.
* Adherence to Policy: Adhere to company policy regarding Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities.
